World Bank Series on Development
Series Description
The World Bank Series on Development is a collection of international and multidisciplinary theoretical and practical evaluation work applied to the development context. It examines development issues in light of evaluation findings and approaches, taking into account crucial dimensions such as poverty reduction, gender, environment, private and public sector, institutions and partnerships. The series draws on work by experts from the World Bank Group and from other international development agencies, as well as from independent scholars and practitioners. The collection provides access to evaluation work that contributes to a better understanding of development issues, and to methodological developments that enhance the usefulness of evaluation to generate evidence-based development policies.
