Manuscript Submission Guidelines
Since 1962 Transaction Publishers has been helping authors reach audiences worldwide in a variety of languages and cultures. With over 5,000 active titles in the social sciences and adjacent areas of study such as communication, literary criticism, policy analysis, history, and philosophy, we are dedicated to excellence in academic publishing and to serving a diverse professional public.
Transaction invites you to share your work! We accept proposals and complete manuscripts. For more information on what to include with your project and how to submit, please see below.
Complete Manuscripts
Please include the complete manuscript, a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and contact information. If there is interest in your work, electronic files may be requested to expedite the review process. Complete manuscripts must be sent via mail.

Proposals
Proposals must be less than ten pages and include the aim of the work, a writing sample, chapter outline with summaries, length and delivery date of completed work, target readership, your sense of domestic and export markets, and the differences between your work and existing books on the subject. Please include a curriculum vitae and contact information. Proposals are reviewed only to indicate interest in the complete manuscript. Publication decisions are made only after a review of the complete manuscript. Proposals may be sent via mail or email, or delivered at a conference or trade show.

Conference or Trade Show Delivery: Proposals are accepted at conferences and trade shows, however, complete manuscripts must be mailed. Our representative will be happy to discuss the submission and review process with you.
