Transaction President Mary E. Curtis's Letter to Commentary Magazine about Hannah Arendt Published
In the December issue of Commentary, Transaction's president, Mary E. Curtis, had a letter to the editor published in response to Commentary's review of the movie, Hannah Arendt. Hannay Arendt was an extremely complex iconographic figure in twentieth-century intellectual life. Her lasting influence led Mary Curtis to publish a book last year compiling the many writings of Irving Louis Horowitz on her work and the controversies surrounding it. For more information on the book, see: Hannah Arendt.
